Welcome to Atkinson Road—A primary school based in Benwell, Newcastle which received a 'Good' Ofsted Grade, as well as being rated as 'Outstanding' for personal development in June 2023.

We are one of the few primary schools in Newcastle to receive a ‘Good’ Ofsted grade with an overall outstanding rating for personal development. We are a “wonderfully supportive school”, where the children have a “strong sense of belonging'.

Our Art Ambassadors had a fantastic visit to Seven Stories today to see Curiosity, our Peter Rabbit statue on the St Oswald’s Art Trail. They were so proud to see their collaborative artwork and loved exploring such a magical place!
